FTZ 136

Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) 136 enables qualified business to defer or eliminate U.S. Customs duties on imported goods. One of the largest foreign trade zones in the U.S., FTZ 136 encompasses 4,160 acres through four general-purpose sites in north, central and south Brevard County. This allows many businesses to take advantage of its benefits by locating within the general-purpose zone boundaries. Our FTZ includes four general-purpose, duty-free warehouses at the Port. In addition, the Melbourne International Airport FTZ location currently offers existing office, light industrial,heavy industrial and hangar space, all with existing or potential flight-line access. Strategically located, FTZ 136 offers full-service cargo facilities to meet your company's requirements including forty-nine acres of secure, illuminated and paved open-air storage facilities; most areas only 100 feet from dock to point of rest. We have more than 300,000 feet of dockside fully enclosed dry and secure warehousing equipped with covered loading docks. We offer special storage facilities for cement, petroleum and slag - including newly operational Seaport Canaveral, a petroleum terminal and 117-million-gallon-capacity tank farm in our north cargo area. We boast the largest cold storage facility on the East Coast with 9 million cubic feet of dockside cold/chill/freezer space that can be set from -10 degrees F (-23.3 C) to 55 degrees F (12.7 C) with up to 95 percent humidity.
